CAD4LAND ("CAD4LAND", "we", "our" or "us") provides outsourced CAD drafting services for licensed land surveyors, civil engineers and land developers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you interact with cad4land.com, request a quote, sign a contract, or transmit field data and CAD files to our team.

We treat every project file the same way we treat survey field notes — as confidential professional work product owned by you, our client.

We only collect the information needed to deliver drafting work and operate the website. Specifically:

• Contact details you submit on Quote, Get Started or Contact forms — name, company, email, phone.
• Project intake details — the main service requested, sub-services selected, written scope, and uploaded reference files.
• Account credentials for the Client Portal (email + a hashed password). We never store passwords in plain text.
• Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used solely for security and abuse prevention.

We do not collect health data, financial account numbers, government IDs, or any other special category of personal information.

Submitted information is used strictly to:

• Respond to quote requests and project inquiries.
• Draft, review and deliver CAD work product to you.
• Maintain your Client Portal account and project history.
• Send transactional emails about active engagements (invoices, deliverables, revision threads).
• Improve service quality and operate the website securely.

We never sell, rent or trade your information. We do not use your project files to train third-party AI models.

All field notes, raw survey data, point clouds, deeds, plats and CAD files transmitted to CAD4LAND remain the intellectual property of the originating licensed surveyor, engineer or client. We treat these as confidential by default — whether or not a separate NDA is in place.

Access to project files is restricted to the assigned CAD lead and quality-control reviewer. Files are retained for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable archival period agreed to in your engagement letter, and then securely deleted on request.

The website uses a minimal set of cookies for session management on the Client Portal and lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are visited. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers or remarketing pixels.

You can disable cookies in your browser; the public marketing pages will continue to work, but the Client Portal requires session cookies to function.

We share information with third parties only when strictly necessary to operate the service:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations.
• Legal authorities, when compelled by a valid subpoena, court order or applicable law.
• Successor entities in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of CAD4LAND assets — in which case this Privacy Policy will continue to apply.

You may request to view, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at the email below and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention obligations.

We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access controls and least-privilege principles. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat the protection of survey work product as a core part of our professional obligation.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
